BlinkStream is an IoT device for controlling lights. Specifically, we use the ubiquitous NeoPixel addressable LED lights for their ease of setup and low power consumption. Using your BlinkStream is as simple:

1) Plug in the 3-pin connector on your BlinkStream to the corresponding one on the NeoPixels. Be sure that the wire colors match. If they do not, try the other end of the LED strip. Connecting the 3-pin connector wrongly can result in damage to your BlinkStream and/or LED strip.

2) Plug in your power supply to the BlinkStream’s barrel jack. 3) On your computer, phone, or tablet, connect to the BlinkStream’s WiFi network and navigate to http://192.168.4.1/setup. Fill out the login to your home Wi-Fi network and the number of LEDs. Press the “Submit” button. Wait 1-2 seconds, then press the “Reset” button on the BlinkStream device itself. Your BlinkStream should show a progress bar on the LEDs until it connects to your Wi-Fi network. When the green progress bar on the LEDs disappears, the BlinkStream is now connected to your home Wi-Fi.

3) On your computer, phone, or tablet, navigate your browser to: http://blinkstream

4) Enjoy! You can control and save lighting patterns from the web interface.
